Oct 5 Pinnacles Sat 4D. We will begin our hike from the West Entrance and hike to North Chalone Peak and back through the balconies. This is a very strenuous hike at a moderate pace. Must call the leader if you have not hiked with us before. Carpool at 7:00 am Cottle and Hwy 85 or meet at the West Entrance parking lot at Pinnacles National Monument. Leader: Fran Allen.

On Friday, the temperature range had been 38-94 degrees. It was getting warmer however.

La Fuente on the main drag of Soledad serves very generous portions of very tasty food, very slowly.
