	Jan. 14 - Rose Peak Sat 4D. Follow the famous Brogan route for a complete loop to Rose Peak. Heavy rain cancels. Bring wind protection just in case. Carpool: Mission Blvd and Hwy 680 P & R (Across from McDonalds) at 8:00 AM or 8:30 at far parking lot, Sunol Park. Leaders: Charles Rankin and Debbie Benham.
	Just in case? Well the sun came out briefly.
	But by the time we got up to the top of Volpe Ridge it became apparent that things were not going our way. We bailed out the nearest exit.

	High times at the Hi C. A concerned property owner asked where we were trying to go.
	We found our way back into the park.
	We recouped slightly under a sort of leaky shelter.
	And slip-slid down the mud.
	We finally found the bottom. Nobody wanted refreshments. We abandoned our companions to their fate.
