	Nov 20 Mt. Diablo Sat, 2C (10 miles, 2900 ft.). Strenuous loop hike starting at Juniper Campground with side trips to Eagle Peak and North Peak before reaching Diablo's summit. Bring water, lunch, boots, and an adventurous spirit. $4 park fee per vehicle. Optional dinner stop. Meet at Page Mill and I-280 P & R at 8 am. Leaders: Marty Klein.
	The day was very clear and windy at Juniper Camp. The grasslands were green again from the rain.
	Eagle Peak eluded us at first.

	But eventually we figured it out.
	Later we passed by North Peak but figured we had enough going to do today.
	From the summit area we saw the distant Golden Gate Bridge. A pretty good day despite the wind.
